FROM BOSTON VIA ROUTE 1
Take Route 1 South to Dedham. Shortly after the junction with Washington Street, turn left onto Eastern Avenue just after the Staples store on your left. Continue on Eastern Avenue, about 4/10ths of a mile. The Fairbanks House will be on your right.
FROM BOSTON VIA THE MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike west from Boston. Exit the Massachusetts Turnpike onto I95/128 South. Proceed South along I95/128 and exit at 15A onto Route 1 North. Proceed through three traffic lights. At the fourth light turn right onto Eastern Avenue and continue about 4/10ths of a mile. The Fairbanks House will be on your right.

FROM BOSTON – COMMUTER RAIL
Take the Franklin Line train from South Station or Back Bay Station to Dedham’s Endicott Station. It is about a 20 – 25 minute walk from Endicott Station. Walk down the hill and turn right onto East Street. The Fairbanks House will be on the left.

FROM BOSTON – MBTA BUS
Take the 34E bus from the Orange Line, Forest Hills Station to Dedham Center. From Dedham Center it is about a 10 minute walk. At the main intersection turn right onto High Street. Walk about 1 block and turn right onto Eastern Avenue. Cross Route 1 and continue past the VFW post and American Legion. The Fairbanks House will be on the right.
